So last weekend my Sissy Lindsay threw a Halloween PartY for Brooklyn. I went down with Abbey and Kelby in tow. We had a great time at the party and enjoyed all the scary, yet delicious goodies.(excpet the witch fingers) lol. My cousin Sheila was also there with her two adorable daughters. It was great to see her, it had been WaY to long.
The highlight of the trip for Kelby was helping Dave fix up his motorcycle he recently bought. He loves anything to do with dirtbikes or motorcyle. He spent almost all day sunday out in the garage with Dave. When they finally got it up and running Dave wanted to take Kelby for a JoyRide, But the little chap didn't have a helmet. Well someone suggested that he wear John's helmet.. Lindsay wasn't so sure about the idea at first but Dave and I talked her into it. I told her John would want him to and that the ride would be in memory of him and that in a way he'd be along for a ride. Kelby was pretty excited. I must say when Dave finally pulled it out of the attic ( it was quite the experience, with lots of laughs) that it tough to see. To see the helmet with it's scuff's and scrapes and to know that the last time it was worn was by John put a little tear in my eye. Kelby wore it proud and with HoNor! I wanna give a thanks to Dave.. I know the memories will last with Kelby for ForEveR!!
